Eliot
Sefrin was born in Brooklyn, NY, and attended The City College of New York,
where he received a bachelor’s degree. He began his 35-year career in
journalism as a newspaper reporter, covering a wide range of topics,
including politics, law, business, education, health and the environment.
Sefrin later served as a columnist, feature writer, and newspaper editor. He
is currently the editorial director and publisher of a successful business
magazine.
The Death of Dahlgren Place is Sefrin’s second novel. His first
novel, Under A Cloud, was a critically acclaimed, award-winning story
about a controversial police shooting in a poverty-stricken, minority
neighborhood in New York.
