Eliot Sefrin

Eliot
Sefrin was born in Brooklyn, NY, and graduated from the City College of New
York. He began his 35-year career in journalism as a newspaper reporter and
later served as a feature writer and newspaper editor, as well as editorial
director and publisher of a monthly business magazine.
Blood in the Promised Land is his third novel. His first, Under A
Cloud, was a critically acclaimed, award-winning novel about a
controversial police shooting in a poverty-stricken, minority neighborhood
in New York. His second, The Death of Dahlgren Place, chronicles the
triumph and turmoil tied to the building of the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge.
